On April 29, 2025 (local time), Prime Minister Ishiba visited Manila, the Republic of the Philippines. After holding a meeting with second-generation Nikkei-jin, the Prime Minister visited Rizal Park and laid a wreath. The Prime Minister then attended a welcome ceremony and signed the guestbook at the Malacañan Palace, followed by a summit meeting with H.E. Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., President of the Republic of the Philippines, which included a small group meeting and a plenary meeting, and a joint press occasion. Lastly, Prime Minister Ishiba attended a dinner with President Marcos and Madam Louise Araneta–Marcos, First Lady of the Philippines.

On April 28, 2025 (local time), Prime Minister Ishiba, during his visit to Hanoi, the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Tran Thanh Man, Chairman of National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam. The Prime Minister then attended the Japan-Vietnam Cooperation Forum on Creating High-Value-Added Industries in High-Tech, Green Transformation (GX), and Semiconductor Industries, followed by a visit to the Vietnam-Japan University. Afterwards, the Prime Minister attended a dinner with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Madam Le Thi Bich Tran. On April 29, 2025 (local time), Prime Minister Ishiba attended a breakfast meeting hosted by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Madam Le Thi Bich Tran, and subsequently visited the Vietnam National Museum of History under their guidance.

On April 28, 2025 (local time), Prime Minister Ishiba, during his visit to Hanoi, the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, visited the Monument to Heroic Martyrs and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, laying a wreath at each site. The Prime Minister then attended a welcome ceremony and held a small group meeting and an expanded meeting with H.E. Mr. PHAM Minh Chinh, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, followed by a document exchange ceremony and a joint press occasion. Afterwards, the Prime Minister held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Luong Cuong, President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
