Visit to Viet Nam by Mrs. ISHIBA Yoshiko, Spouse of the Prime Minister

On April 27, 2025 (local time), Mrs. ISHIBA Yoshiko, Spouse of the Prime Minister, who is visiting the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam with Prime Minister Ishiba, observed the Thang Long Industrial Park together with Prime Minister Ishiba, followed by a roundtable discussion with representatives of Japanese-affiliated companies operating in Viet Nam. Afterwards, Mrs. Ishiba visited the Vietnamese Women’s Museum and held talks with Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly, Spouse of the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam. Mrs. Ishiba then attended a dinner with Prime Minister Ishiba hosted by H. E. Mr. To Lam, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam and his spouse, Madam Ly. 

On April 28, 2025 (local time), Mrs. Ishiba visited the Monument to Heroic Martyrs and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, laying a wreath with Prime Minister Ishiba, and attended the official welcome ceremony. Afterwards, Mrs. Ishiba visited the Viet Nam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism as part of the Partner’s Program hosted by Mrs. Le Thi Bich Tran, Spouse of H.E. Mr. Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister of Viet Nam.

In the afternoon, Mrs. Ishiba visited the Japanese School of Hanoi and the Foreign Language Specialized High School under the University of Foreign Languages and International Studies, Viet Nam National University. Lastly, Mrs. Ishiba, together with Prime Minister Ishiba, attended a dinner with Prime Minister Chinh and Madam Tran.

On April 29, 2025 (local time), Mrs. Ishiba, together with Prime Minister Ishiba, attended a breakfast meeting hosted by Prime Minister Chinh and Madam Tran, followed by a visit to the Vietnam National Museum of History under their guidance.
